Been a Long Time
Well last year we went to San Diego, got our new home in order, I got a promotion, a friend passed away, and now we've started on our backyard. So a whole lot has happened good and bad. I realize this is not terribly enlightened, but it's life and it keeps going whether you give it a try or just sit a round like a lump.
The one thing that is always constant though is that God has always been there. No matter how painful or frustating or joyful or beautiful life can be, He is always there for me. Because of that, I find each day has a little joy, even when I feel bogged down, there is joy. Thank you Lord for this day.

I give you Lois Lane and Clark Kent. :)

I give you . . . FUEGO
So these past six months of blissful marriage Jacob and I have been going to many different model homes and new communities looking for the home that one day we could call our own. So after these past long six months of living in an apartment with a family of 25 above us and the blast-103.5-at-2-in-the-morning guy living next to us oh and no parking. God has blessed us. A little over a week ago we checked out these lovely models in Westlake (a community in Natomas) and we were hooked, as my husband said it's very goldilocks and the three bears, the smallest was too small the biggest was to big, but the middle, Fuego, was just right. So all last week Jacob researched loans and interest rates and all that entails. So Sunday we thought we would go and see the model and see this home that was already built that was the model we loved and see if we could start paper work. Well little did we know God would bless us with John. The gentleman working in the office, who showed us the house showed us what was available to us loan wise and mortgage wise, and finally showed us where to sign on the dotted line. We were and are hooked and officially in Escrow, and on our way to owning first home. In fact in all the paper work the sale date is July 16, 2006. It feels so wonderful knowing we will have a place to paint any color we want (inside of course) and hang pictures and truly make our home. We are so truly blessed.

Monday afternoon after work, Jacob said "Hey you know how we've been wanting to get a fish well lets go get it today." So we did, we got two cute little goldfish one named Fluffy and one named Doctor Marlena Evans.
We took them home and prepared their water and they seemed content enough. We put them in the bowl at about the right time and fed them. They swam around each other, checked out the water plant we got for them (to oxygenate the water), and were basically cute goldfish.
SOOOO, yesterday we get up, they seem okay, normal enough. Well at about 10am I looked over and noticed that Doctor Marlena Evans is not looking so good, she's starting to do a little side stroke, then I noticed a couple minutes later she was getting slower and slower and sad to say. . . yep that's right. . . the Doc has gone to the big blue ocean or Goldfish bowl, what have you, in the sky. Meanwhile I think that's a new goldfish record, killed in less than 18 hours. :(
Fluffy still LIVES!

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!
Schools out for summer! Schools out forever! (unless I go to graduate school) Holy Cow, I just finished my last final of my Bachelors Degree. It was an Intro to Criticism Class which basically means we read Plato and Aristotle and wrote about them. It was actually pretty interesting it was just sooo thick. Also I think I got carpal tunnel syndrome while taking that exam, but woo hoo its done! Thank you God. I'm so exhausted and happy. Woot!

Boston
In three weeks my handsome husband and I will be on our way to beautiful Boston. I cannot wait. I'll be graduated. We'll be going to a Red Sox game. I'm so excited. Then right after, I'll be starting a new job. This is a very interesting and blessed time. Bittersweet in so many ways. I will definitely miss working at the church. It was the perfect job for being in school. Most importantly though it seems like such a huge chapter of my life is closing, no more classes and no more going to WCM everyday. My family started going there when I was 3 months old I've spent my entire life growing up here. I'm so excited to have a new job in a fast pace environment, and I know it will be a good experience. It's just the transition that is the hardest.

The Perfect Day

I discovered on the day that all little girls imagine to be their most magical and perfect day, that the perfection of a wedding is when it's simply real. My wedding day was perfect. I didn't particularly like the make-up I paid to have done, so I redid it myself, as well the hour and half before the wedding while the wedding party took pictures we did it without the ring-bearer as he was running around refusing take off his Buzz Lightyear shirt in order to put on his tuxedo. The candles surrounding the altar decided instead of simply dripping wax, the wax would collect into softball size wads and then crash to the floor. As far as mishaps or things going wrong, that was it. The day was beautiful, it had rained the night before and so the ground was clean and the air was crisp and fresh.
